It’s fair to say we clean A LOT of appliances! Although some polishes and cleaners promise gleaming results, nothing cleans stainless quite like vinegar and water. This is especially great for people looking for natural alternatives for cleaning their homes.
Here are a few tips for cleaning your appliances:
Tip #1: Use a good microfiber cloth.
Tip #2: Use a spray bottle and fill with 1-2 tablespoons of plain white vinegar and 16 ounces of water. The vinegar smell won’t be overpowering but it will still cut through grime.
Tip #3: For super sticky messes on your stainless steel, use hot water on a microfiber cloth to wipe the mess before using the vinegar/water mixture.
Tip#4: Wipe with the grain of the stainless. Even though you are using a microfiber cloth you don’t want to add any scratches from anything that could be on your cloth.
