Coffee Makers

If the dishwasher doesn’t do the job, water and vinegar will do the trick especially if you’re dealing with white mineral deposits. Put equal parts water and vinegar in the water tank and turn the coffee maker on. Turn it off halfway through the cycle and let it sit for thirty minutes, finish the cycle, then replace vinegar water with only water and run two times. With that being said, if you have a Kinetico water system installed in your home, giving you purified water, you won’t have issues with white mineral residue.
Kettles

Water and vinegar are really your friends! Fill the kettle with equal parts water and vinegar, let it sit for an hour and then turn on the kettle. Rinse it out when it’s finished and voila! Same with Kettles as coffee makers, having a Kinetico water system in your home prevents mineral buildup on your appliances.
Dishwashers

If you use dishwasher cleaning products, make sure to still give your dishwasher a good old-fashioned cleaning from time to time. Use a toothbrush to get in the tiny grooves, especially the wheels on the sliding racks. Wipe down the inside surfaces. Run a cycle while the dishwasher is empty and, depending on the model of dishwasher you have, set the setting on a heavy cycle with hot water. You can also use vinegar to clean your dishwasher, place a dishwasher-safe bowl facing up, put a cupful of white vinegar in it and run the dishwasher on a hot cycle. Microwaves

When life gives you a microwave, clean it with lemons! You don’t need a sponge or a scrub brush, cut a lemon in half, squeeze its juice in a microwavable bowl, add half a cup of water, and heat it up in the microwave for three and a half minutes or until the water boils. After it’s done, let it sit for five minutes then wipe the inside down.
Stovetops

Depending on the type of stovetop you have, the techniques differ. If you have a gas range, remove all removable parts, soak them in water and soap and then scrub and rinse. With electric burners, don’t soak them in water, use dishwashing detergent and scrub the gunk away. If dishwashing detergent is not doing the trick, mix baking soda with water and scrub with the thick paste it creates.
Toasters

It’s hard to get inside those tiny toasters to clean them unless you have a removable tray. In this case, remove the tray, empty out the crumbs, and clean it. If you don’t have a removable tray, however, unplug the toaster, use a pastry or baking brush to reach inside and clean it.
