When it comes to bedroom design, one of the main factors is, of course, the furniture.  It has to a) fit the space, b) be a style that won't date too quickly, c) match each other. Well actually 'C' is completely incorrect!  Your bed does not have to have matching nightstands, a matching chest of drawers with a matching mirror.

I love the grey's that are out there right now but I didn't want to overpower a bedroom.  I went with the grey fabric bed.  It's studded detail on the side complimented a cream corner chair that I already had.  I went with off-white nightstands from Ikea and sandy-coloured laundry hamper.

So, none of the furniture actually "matches", yet the room looks complete!
