One of Chef Neil’s kitchen tools he can’t live without is his meat grinder. Being a professional chef, making sure your food tastes its best is a huge part of the job, and one clear advantage to grinding your own meat is the freshness. Having control over the quality and freshness of the meat can drastically change the taste of your food for the better. Grinders can also be used for things other than meat like ground vegetables for relishes or sauces that require fine chopping. One of Chef Neil’s favourite things to do with his meat grinder is coming up with new sausage recipes, being able to grind his own meat allows him control over of the exact flavours he is going for.
