When one of my favourite clients/friends came to me and was ready to tackle a small living room furniture re-fresh, I decided it was time to have a serious talk about the direction of their overall home. They bought a fantastic 4-level split 8 years ago and have been plugging away at projects around the house since. The main floor layout has always been a source of frustration but it is also one of the largest projects to tackle since it encompasses the main portion of the house…kitchen, living and dining room. They are still 1-2 years away from ripping down walls, but they want to toss the old furniture and update that space. Before we went ahead and sourced the new furniture I wanted to plan out the overall space for when we do renovate to be 100% sure what we buy today will work in their new space!
