Remembrance Day DIY Wreath

Colleen Larson at our Trail Appliances, Calgary South location, shows how making a Remembrance Wreath is as easy as 1-2-3....well okay....up to 4-5-6.

**SUPPLIES:**1 Wreath frameHot glue gunWire cutterFloral wireRibbonSilk greeneryPoppy silk flowersWriting pen for fabric

STEP 1: Use a wire cutter to cut the greenery into smaller pieces

STEP 2: Use the hot glue gun to put a bit of glue on the end of the greenery and place it onto the wreath, creating a half moon shape.

STEP 3:  Layer the greenery until full

STEP 4:  Cut the silk flowers into smaller pieces and arrange/glue them onto the half moon shape

STEP 5:  Create a bow by pinching the ribbon and twisting the pieces into equal lengths. Add a piece of floral wire to hold the ribbon together.

STEP 6:  Attach the ribbon to the top of the wreath, securing it with a piece of floral wire. On another piece of ribbon, big enough to cover the width of the wreath, write a phrase with the fabric pen. Then attach the ribbon to the wreath using a hot glue.

And voila! a lovely wreath to remember by.
