2/3 cup cocoa2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour2 cups of sugar1 ½ teaspoons baking powder1 ½ teaspoons baking soda¾ teaspoon salt1 ½ teaspoon instant coffee granules1 ½ cups orange juice or sour milk (not both)3 eggs1 ¼ cups oil
Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor or mixer. Add the other ingredients
Mix until oil is incorporated. Pour into a well-greased Bundt pan that has been sprinkled with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or 350 degrees on convection bake for 45 minutes or my favourite is the Miele steam oven on the cake setting.
Tips & tricks: A good Bundt pan is the trick to getting it to come out of the pan nicely. This cake can be made dairy or dairy-free. After spraying a cake pan with cooking spray sprinkle with sugar not flour for a slight sugary coating.
